I was
ordained in 1994 from Hebrew Union College / Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati, the home of the Reform movement and
the first rabbinic seminary in the United States. After serving for twelve years at Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco,
the largest congregation in Northern California, I moved to Tucson, Arizona, where I was the rabbi of Congregation
Chaverim for two years.
I now serve as rabbi for the newly formed Reform
congregation in Tucson, Congregation M'kor Hayim. I also teach in the areas of adult education, Jewish spirituality, and meditation. I am a trained Spiritual
Director, a retreat leader, and have extensive experience officiating at Jewish weddings, funerals and other life-cycle
events.
